Hello Cavers:
I bought an 8" Rich Field f4.5 reflector back in 1974. Many years ago I diassembled it for moving, and...the movers lost the mirror. After many years promising myself I would put it back together, I've decided it deserves an owner that can really give it the restoration it deserves. So I'm putting up the following parts that were not lost for sale (all original equipment):
- original tube, rotating ring (ring system needs to be restored), eyepiece mount, Al end rings
- spider mount with diagonal and holder (diagonal needs resurfacing)
- finder and mount
- mirror mount
- equatorial mount, setting circles with indicators, pedestal with legs, casters, and leveling screws
- clock drive (probably needs an overhaul, haven't tried it in years)
- 25mm and 12.5 mm eyepieces
- Barlow
What's missing:
- 8" f4.5 mirror
- mount counterweights (have collar)
