Hey Guys,
My first post on this forum and it is in the classifieds. Shameless!!
I have a 8" cave mirror and would like to build it. If anyone has a set of rotating rings to sell I would be grateful.
I have some old blue tube to put the mirror into, but if anyone has an original Cave tube that would be super.
Regards, Vinay

Hi Vinay Welcome to the cave boards. The rotating rings are very difficult to come by. I needed some myself and searched for 6-7 months before finding an old cave OTA someone was selling. I can't say they were expensive, but the seller did not know what he had. It maybe easier to find an entire mount than the rings. What I might suggest is turning it into a Dob. The mirror is well worth the effort. If you have the serial number and information on the side of the mirror, post it here so we can get it into the mirror registry. Jon Miles is in charge of it and it helps historically to trace the direction that Tom Cave went in building these magnificent scopes. Turk

I have heard different things about Parks as to their still being in business or not but their website has both rotating rings and tubes for sale. Parks supplied tubes to Cave for a time. My 1975 scope has a Parks tube.
