Hi Folks--
Although I already have an Astrola equatorial under a 12.5-inch Newtonian, I have another application that would be ideally solved if I can find a second equatorial with 2.5-inch shafts. I'm hoping to find one that's still in the original configuration, i.e. with the stock gears and the 10-inch circles, etc. I'll consider an entire instrument with a tube assembly if need be. But I'm hoping that eventually I'll find an example where someone has removed the tube for conversion into a Dobsonian, or some such. Thank you, --John W. Briggs, 970-328-6228.

I have a circa 1970 12.5 f/6 Cave Astrola you might be interested in. It is all original, the mirror is in good shape but the clock drive doesn't work. It has the transportable German mount. I can mail pictures if you are interested. Thanks..

Hi John, sorry too about the late answer, it's been crazy recently. I'll be out of town for a week but I will call you and send pictures ASAP. Thanks for the interest.
